Dining options range from poolside express to fine dining at the Atlantis Hotel Bahamas. I’ll start off by saying if dining is a big part of your vacation experience, you might want to consider a dining plan. If you’re like us and dining is not a big part of your experience and you have a child who is a picky eater DO NOT DO A MEAL PLAN at the Atlantis Hotel in Bahamas. With the least expensive meal plan option, you’ll play $138 for two adults and $35 per child. We did not even come close to that amount. Also the meal plans only include breakfast and dinner and only includes coffee and tea – no soft drinks.
Well, we’re not big breakfast eaters and we LOVE soft drinks. If you’re like us, take advantage of the soft drinks in your mini bar. They are $2.75. You’ll pay a little more down at Murray’s Deli or the Marina Pizzeria…$3, I think. We packed a small suitcase filled with cereal bars, pop tarts, single serve variety of chips and other snacks. In the morning, we’d have the cereal bars or pop tarts with water or juice. Once morning, I ventured to the Starbucks in the Marina Village hoping to use some Starbucks gift cards I have. I was not surprised to find they did not accept them. Starbucks prices at Atlantis Bahamas seemed similar to home as I did however get some fruit for around $4.50 which isn’t a bad price for the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas. We’d have a late lunch each day at Shark Bites by the Mayan Temple area. It was nice there because you could get a table with an umbrella. Many people would order at a walk up eaterie and eat on the pool chairs. It was nearly impossible to find two pool chairs together, however. We also saved money by ordering off the kids menu each day. We had chicken tenders, hot dogs and cheeseburgers for $9 each. These included fries. I probably could have even shared with our son. It was plenty of food. We would have paid more to order off the adult menu.
If you are traveling with children, I recommend the Marina Village at the Atlantis Hotel Nassau Bahamas for your evening meals. Johnny Rockets will be familiar to many children from the U.S. and is reasonably priced. Of course, you’ll pay more than you pay at Johnny Rockets at home – but less than many other Atlantis Hotel Paradise Island Bahamas options. Bimini Road, Carmine’s and Murray’s Delicatessen are other relaxed dining options also located at the Marina Village. You can also grab a slice of pizza at the Marina Pizzeria if you want to dine a little cheaper. It is pretty good, too. The Starbucks seemed comparable to the prices here in the U.S….however, I’m not a coffee drinker so I’m not sure. They also have a Ben & Jerry’s if you want dessert.
The first night, we ate at Johnny Rockets. We shared a pretty decent slice of pizza from the Marina Pizzeria one night and ate snacks out the “snack” suitcase a couple of
nights. Our last evening there was our little boy’s eighth birthday, so we had a celebration dinner at Murry’s Delicatessen. Murray’s was great. They had many selections for kids including grilled cheese, chicken tenders, mac & cheese, burgers, etc. I had maybe the best Beef Manhattan I’ve ever had. They also had a clown there that evening entertaining the kids. He brought our son a piece of cake and sang “Happy Birthday.” It was really cool. The prices were good for the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas.
Express dining options include two Starbucks – one in The Reef Atlantis Hotel in Nassau Bahamas and one in the Marina Village, Jamba Juice, Cave Grill, Cleito’s Cart, Dive In, Pisces, Shark Bites, Marina Pizzeria and Ben & Jerry’s. Buffet dining
includes Marketplace, Water’s Edge and Mosaic. Relaxed dining options include Atlas Bar & Grill, Bimini Road, Carmine’s, Johnny Rockets, Lagoon Bar & Grill, Murray’s Delicatessen and The Pointe Restaurant & Bar. Fine Dining included the Bahamian Club, Cafe Martinique, Casa D’Angelo, Atlantis Chop Stix Restaurant, Mesa Grill, Nobu, Seafire Steakhouse and Courtyard Terrace.

Casa D'Angelo at the Atlantis Hotel Bahamas
The Gourmet plan at the Atlantis Hotel and Resort Bahamas is $99 per day per adult and $50 per day per child age 7-11. This plan offers a choice of full American or continental breakfast daily at Marketplace, Plato’s, Murray’s Delicatessen, Coral Towers Lounge, Water’s Edge or Voyager’s and dinner daily in Marketplace, Atlas Bar & Grill, Murray’s Delicatessen, Marina Pizzeria, Café Martinique†, Carmines, Bimini Road, Bahamian Club, Casa D’Angelo, Chop Stix, Voyager’s or The Pointe Restaurant & Bar. Dinner includes a choice of an appetizer; soup or salad; one entrée; a selection of one dessert; tea and coffee at a la carte restaurants.
The Cove Plan at Atlantis is $124 per adult per day and $50 per child age 7-11 per day. This plan offers a choice of full American or continental breakfast daily at Mosaic, Marketplace, Plato’s, Murray’s Delicatessen, Coral Towers Lounge, Water’s Edge or Voyager’s and dinner daily in Mesa Grill, Mosaic, Marketplace, Atlas Bar & Grill, Murray’s Delicatessen, Marina Pizzeria, Café Martinique, Carmines, Bimini Road, Bahamian Club, Casa D’Angelo, Chop Stix, Voyager’s or The Pointe Restaurant & Bar. Dinner includes a choice of an appetizer; soup or salad; one entrée; a selection of one dessert; tea and coffee at a la carte restaurants.
As you can see there are many different dining options and many different price brackets at the Alantis Hotel Bahamas. Keep in mind there are no free refills on beverages. We are really spoiled here in the U.S. Also, the carbonated beverages are not really very fizzy. They seem somewhat flat, so you might want to ask for your soda in the can. Finally, remember you’ll pay a bit more than you pay at home. Hopefully, with my suggestions and ideas of your own, dining at the Atlantis Hotel Bahamas won’t break the bank.
